FME en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (“FME”, “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal information. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about our privacy and protection practices, including how we collect, use and disclose your personal information.

This Privacy Policy covers our application (the “Application”) and all of our activities, unless we have provided you with a separate privacy policy for a particular product, service or activity.

For individuals who use our Application, we may collect information about you or your activities on the Application and, specifically:

• Account creation/login: we collect your name, first name, email address, password.

• Contact form: we collect your first and last name, your email address and any other information you provide in your message.

• Subscription to our newsletter: we may collect your first name, your email address.

• Geolocation: with your consent, we can geolocate you to suggest festivals near you and to help you locate yourself on a festival map.

Like most Apps and other Internet services, we may collect certain technical and device-related information about your use of our App. This information may include your device’s unique identifier, information about your device, browser and operating system, and the date and time of use of the Application.

Anonymous Google Analytics data may be shared with other Google services, which may use this data to contextualize and personalize ads in its own advertising network. FME reserves the right to perform statistical analysis using data collected through the Internet Application on an anonymous, aggregated basis for the purpose of measuring interest in and use of the Application. FME reserves the right to provide its anonymous, aggregated data analyses to any third party.

Other interactions. For individuals who interact with us, whether in person, by phone or email, through social media or otherwise. including those who may be interested, we may collect any information you provide.

How we use your personal information

We may use your personal information and other information to:

• To fully utilize, maintain, improve and provide all features of the Application, to provide services and information requested by you, to respond to comments and questions, and to provide assistance to users of the Application.

We also require that they use your personal information only for the purposes for which it was provided. When our service providers no longer need your personal information for these limited purposes, we require that they destroy it.

In certain circumstances, we may allow our service providers to retain aggregated, anonymous or statistical information that does not identify you. We do not authorize service providers to disclose your personal information to unauthorized parties or to use your personal information for direct marketing purposes. Unsubscribe from our communications

If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails from us, you can opt out of receiving marketing emails by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email you receive from us, or, if you created an online account when you signed up to receive our emails, you can log into your account and change your communication preferences. We will make every effort to respond to your request to unsubscribe promptly, but we ask that you allow us a reasonable amount of time to process your request. • Withdrawing your consent. You may withdraw your consent to the disclosure or use of your personal data collected;
• In such cases, you may have the right to request that the personal information held about you no longer be disclosed.
• Where applicable, you may have the right to request information about the use of any automated decision system and the impact it may have on you.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

We may require that you provide sufficient identification to fulfill your request to exercise your rights. This identifying information will only be used for this purpose.

International and interprovincial transfer and storage of personal information

Your personal information is currently stored in Quebec, Canada. Where applicable, it may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or where we use third party service providers, including the United States. In the latter case, your personal information may be transferred to countries other than your country of residence, which may have different privacy rules than your country. If such information is located outside your country of residence, it is subject to the laws of the country in which it is located and may be disclosed to the governments, courts or law enforcement or regulatory agencies of that other country and in accordance with the laws of that other country. However, our practices regarding your personal information will at all times be governed by this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Application and third party services

This Privacy Policy applies only to our products and services. It does not extend to the Applications or to products or services provided by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties and encourage you to review the privacy policies of such third parties before using their Applications or products or services.

Information for children

Our products and services are not intended for minors under the age of 13 and we do not voluntarily collect personal information from minors under the age of 13. If you are in this situation, please do not provide us with any personal information without the express consent of a parent or guardian.

IF you are a parent or guardian and you know that your children have provided us with

personal information, please contact us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from children under the age of majority without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information from our servers

Update

The FME reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy at any time by providing notice of new terms of use and privacy policy. Such changes, modifications, additions or obligations shall be effective upon issuance of the notice, unless otherwise specified, which may be communicated by posting on the Application or by any other means of transmission.

Continued use of the Application after said notice shall constitute:

• a) Acknowledgement of the new modified Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
• b) the acceptance to be bound by them and to respect them.
